Silver Rising is a personal app for reflection and journaling. Here's how your information is handled:
What's stored on your device: Your journal entries, reflections, and listening history are stored locally on your own device using standard iOS storage. They are not uploaded to or stored on any server operated by Silver Rising.
What's sent to Claude (Anthropic): When you submit a journal reflection, ask "What I Notice" to look for patterns, request a "Looking Back" retrospective, or generate a custom song, the relevant text you've written is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. This is the only third-party service this app communicates with. Anthropic's own privacy practices govern how they handle that data; you can review their policies at anthropic.com/privacy.
What's not collected: This app does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services. There are no ads. Your data is not sold or shared with any third party other than the Anthropic API calls described above, which are required for the app's core reflection features to work.
Your control: Since your journal data lives on your device, deleting the app removes your data. There is currently no cloud backup, so uninstalling the app or losing your device without a personal backup means your entries cannot be recovered.
